Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!

My, my. With 57 days left of 2011, there is an urgency to work on my new year resolutions. Not a new list for 2012, but goals left untouched or unfinished for 2011. Yes, untouched.

This blog is one of my goals, so YAY! Checked. The picture board I made in January had "The Life Online",  reminding myself I have always wanted to create my blog and should create one in 2011.

Now, what do I make of this blog? I will try to share what I saw, heard, learnt and experienced along the way.

Learning is always quite enjoyable to me, if the subject is not tested in an exam. I liken the journey of life as a never ending course, both a class and route, you can never graduate. I may try to include the things I have learnt and share with those who bother to read this space.

Dreams Catcher, catches dreams, of course. I love the legend of dreamcatcher. So many of us have dreams, but how many dare say they are fervently catching or chasing these dreams? Some, do not dare to dream for all the reasons they can think of (they rather think of reasons not to dream). Dreaming does not cost a cent, save for exhausting a million brain cells and a little time, I say, "Go on! DREAM!!! Dream with all your might!!" If you were afraid to dream, or have put creating some of world's greatest dreams on hold, pack that feeling or fear now. If you have no dreams, I hope this blog spurs you, for the mild-hearted, nudges you to inch forward. "The journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step."- Confuscius

"People need to be made more aware of the need to work at learning how to live because life is so quick and sometimes it goes away too quickly."- Andy Warhol, pop-artist. For those who subscibed to this quote, I believe you are busy dreaming already. Your dreams list may be interestingly long and you are busy working on living life everyday, possibly right down to the seconds. Good on you!

Welcome to this starting point with me, as I build castles in the air, then 'castles' everywhere :) If we fulfill our dreams quickly, there is no fear of the sun vaporising these dreams.

For those who are unfamiliar with the legend of the dream catcher:
"The web is a perfect circle with a hole in the center. Use the web to help your people reach their goals, making good use of their ideas, dreams and visions. If you believe in the great spirit, the web will catch your good ideas and the bad ones will go through the hole." The elder passed on his vision to the people and now many Indian people hang a dream catcher above their bed to sift their dreams and visions. The good is captured in the web of life and carried with the people, but the evil in their dreams drops through the hole in the center of the web and is no longer a part of their lives. It's said that the dream catcher holds the destiny of the future. (source:http://www.dreamcatchers.org/dcat16T.html)

4 Nov 2011, Friday when I chose to rest and not go out to see the world, let alone try saving it.
